CHLOE AFTEL - DIRECTOR/WRITER/PRODUCER
Chloe was born and raised in Berkeley, California. She received her BA from UC Berkeley and the Sorbonne in Paris, France. After working for Killer Films, the Film Arts Foundation, and Ladylike Films, she went on to receive her MFA in Film Production from USC. She has won many awards for her work as a still photographer (www.chloeaftel.com).

RACHEL ABARBANELL - PRODUCER
After receiving her BA in Economics & Directing for the Theatre at Knox College, Rachel received a fellowship in Film Studies wherein she discovered that producing is her passion. She has worked for Millennium Films on such films as THE BLACK DAHLIA, 16 BLOCKS, MOZART & THE WHALE, WICKERMAN, and 88 MINUTES. She is currently working for Lynda Obst at Paramount Pictures. In her spare time continues to produce short films.

BRENDA ZUNIGA - CINEMATOGRAPHER
Brenda received her BA from UCLA in Fine Arts and Literature, where she specialized in photography and video. After a year of working for independent film production companies and photography studios, she received her MFA from USC in Film Production. A cinematographer first and foremost, she has shot several short films and features, as well as music videos.

DARCY SCANLIN - PRODUCTION DESIGNER
After receiving her MFA from CalArts in 2000, Darcy began to work for South Coast Repertory Theatre, The Getty Museum, and Long Beach Opera, designing productions of BOSOMS AND NEGLECT, JENUFA, EURIDICE, and KING LEAR, among others. She was a guest artist at the Prague Quadrennial; associate designed the Builders Association’s production of AVANTI, received an Individual Artist Fellowship from The Public Corporation for the Arts, received the NEA/TCG Career Development Program for Designers, and was named a Young Designer to Watch by Entertainment Design Magazine.

KEREN KOHEN - ART DIRECTOR
Keren is currently working towards her MFA in Production Design at AFI. She has a BFA in Graphic Design from the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. She has worked on numerous short films as a Production Designer and has recently returned from Cambodia, where she was the Prop Master on Holly (2006)

JANET PLANET - COSTUME DESIGNER
Janet studied fashion design at FIDM in New York and continued her education at the LA Trade Technical College resulting in a degree in Fashion Design. She has been a costume designer on several independent movies, commercials, music videos, and print ads, including two commercials directed by Jeff Feuerzeig (who won Best Director at Sundance in 2005). She has worked in the industry for more than 10 years.

FRANCIE WASSER - ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
When not directing her own short films, Francie works as an assistant director on short films including THE BOOK ON LOVE, SISSY FRENCH FRY, and ACT ONE SCENE FOUR. She is currently studying Film Production at the USC. She also teaches a video production course in Los Angeles public high schools.

JUSTIN RETTKE - GAFFER
Justin was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. After earning his BA in Film Production from USC in 2000, he started working for major studios and producing his own independent projects. In 2001, Justin returned to the USC to earn an MFA in Film Production. His credits include over thirty short films.

DOUG BISCHOFF - POST PRODUCTION TECHNICAL SUPERVISOR
Doug is a master of post-production; there is nothing he can’t do. His talents range from editing touch-ups to audio/video sync to Widescreen matting to digital recapture to DVD compression and production. He has worked on several short films and has his own post-production company. In his other life, he is an accomplished musician.
